We are a group of volunteers based in the UK who founded Günebakanlar (meaning sunflowers in Turkish) to support disadvantaged individuals and groups in Turkey, regardless of geographical distance.

Make A Promise For The Future Scholarship Fund
Since its founding, Sabancı University has aimed not only to support the academic success of its students, but also to help them become productive and responsible individuals. The “Make a Promise for the Future” Scholarship Fund is one of the strongest support mechanisms reflecting this vision. Through this fund, young people who need financial support due to economic conditions are given the opportunity to continue their education with confidence.
Each scholarship opens a new door in a student’s life and strengthens the foundations of a future in which they contribute to knowledge, science, and social good.
